My Ford dealership just offered me the new GT500 for 40k over MSRP.

“It’s going to appreciate”. “It’s going to be worth more, it’ll be a classic”.

I responded by saying it was the same thing they told me about the GT350. And that when they wouldn’t budge on their 20k ask over on that one, I bought it from their competitor. Along with three work vehicles. And look at GT350 pricing now....

Oh no, I already know the how the car game is especially with that machine. Price isn't the only hurdle, being able to be chosen to have one sold is even more a pita. For pure speed and exoticness the GT2RS is the business, but I prefer the GT3 which fortunately is more attainable than a GT2 or RS for peasants like me.

I think the GT3 is also my preferred. Maybe the RS. Definitely not the GT2rs. Too track focused for me. If I were to use it as a track car, okay. Different story. But that’s a really expensive track car.

Okay. I went to the exhibitors reception last night.

I’ll post pics later. Words can’t describe these cars.

And the woman from Florida, that brought her Bugatti literally laughed when she found out I was bringing in a 458. She tried to be nice I think. It was simply get natural reaction.

I suppose it's the equivalent of, "Seth, I see you're into watches. What do you think of my Timex Ironman?"

Some great sights and sounds at that show! No matter how good the current supercars get it can never change my view on some of those classics you photographed.

Just checked in and cleaned my car.

I’m so far out of my league, I didn’t even know this one existed.

This golf course has an initiation fee of over a million dollars. What kind of money must you make/have to support that kind of lifestyle?

I saw people playing Polo earlier. I didn’t even know they did that in the states.

So far, most people are really nice. And I’ll tell you what, I love my 458. It’s, in my opinion, a classic already and just gorgeous. I’ve already had two people with 458’s come and say hello. They brought other cars, but stated that they love and will never sell their 458.

The cars today truly are crazy. Mind blowingly awesome. I don’t even know what most of them are.

The older cars are my favorite. I’ll be posting a ton of pictures. Likely tomorrow after I get home and settle in. But I’ll try and get a few up today.

Enjoy the day everyone.

I've enjoyed your pics, Seth. I think my invitation got lost in the mail or was misaddressed to one of my previous homes.

This event, sponsored by Richard Mille, is supposed to be one of the best car shows ever. It started in just 2016 and is already super exclusive. Apparently it is one of the nicest country clubs in the US.

The event is invite only and I was lucky enough to have a buddy that helped put it together. Otherwise, not a shot I would be invited. But because my buddy helped out, I got an invite to bring my 458 Spider.

I am way too "white trash" for the Hamptons so I have only been one time in my life. I am much more Jersey Shore. I am imagine it will be a bit of a culture shock for me.

Sunday is an open to all Cars & Coffee, but Friday night and Saturday, I will be hobnobbing with some very serious car, and apparently watch, people.

Picking a watch for this event will be a doozy for sure.

Anyone else going?

Eric is that you? Watch your style!
