Thoughts on this 16610LV

Looking at this 16610LV Z serial. No box or papers, seller is asking 12,000. Appreciate the feedback.

No papers or hang tag so no way of knowing if it’s a real LV.

I’d stay well away.

That green sticker on the back is usually a red flag.

Thanks, even though the price isn’t great (but decent considering the current market) if it’s too good to be true it likely isnt. I’m going to pass.

Good decision. I don't think that price is good, especially without box and papers.

If I was going to spend that much I'd spend a little more.

And on a Hulk (unless you don't like the super case). Which I'm guessing he doesn't. Or is that a Hulk? What's the difference between Kermit and Hulk, dial color?

One is a 5 digit other is a 6. Plus the “Kermit” is the anniversary sub.

I would pass at that price. For a collectible timepiece like the Kermit I would spend a little more for a full set. Cheers!

Save for a full set, better off looking at one of the trusted sellers here on TRF when timing permits.

Get a full set. You need providence that it’s really an LV.

Any other ID?

Papers box and hangtags are easier to fake and buy than the watch. If the guy is the original owner, He may be able to get the A.D. he bought it from to verify it, with an appraisal.

Ask the seller lots of questions.

Just to share my experience of buying a 16610LV from a verified seller here.

The Kermit I bought from him has everything but warranty card.

I asked specifically if the watch been service and all parts are original and his answer was yes been serviced and all parts are original.

By chance I took it to Rolex service center to adjust because it keeps 10 seconds faster/day. Turn out Rolex said there are dusts inside the movement and the lug’s spring bars are not original.

I ended up send it in for fresh full service with Rolex. Overall yes the watch is authentic and I’m getting a fresh new service with RSC warranty card but the seller gave wrong descriptions to me.

Cheers

+1.

Crown guards appear to be a bit thin as well.

Bracelet sides on a 16610 are brushed.

The green sticker (it's actually a hologram) is period correct.

If you are basing that solely on the sticker, then you are wrong.

Can you explain though the hologram looks fresh on a 2006/7 watch.
Unworn watch?

No issue the watch, but curious
thanks
