1655 Mk1 case profile details

Dear TRF Vintage Illuminati:

Looking for direct knowledge (or even better + photos) of early 1655 original crown guards and factory lug chamfers.

I see pristine recut and refinished, restored, (and possibly laser welded) cases on the interwebs - and am trying to understand the variation of the earliest 1655 cases.

Clearly, there is some great work being done by expert refinishers in the industry - but I would like to know what the original factory crown guards and chamfering on the lug ends looked like.

Were the mk1 crown guards pointier than later 1655 cases? Were the Chamfers deep cut at the lugs? I have also read that the later 1655 cases were thicker - has anyone validated this?

Many thanks in advance for your guidance.
