Authentic Sky-Dweller?

Hello everyone,

Maybe you can help me out. I'm relatively new to the watch world and I randomly came across a Rolex Sky-Dweller in an estate sale but I have concerns that the watch might be fake. The logo looks a little strange to me and the "Swiss Made" also looks off. Granted, the pictures aren't great but I was hoping someone here might have greater insight.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

LOL - that is a big fugazie Skydweller

Stay far far away from that one. Here is my one for reference - I'll let you analyse them. The differences and just the quality and workmanship is clearly visible.

100% Fake!

It doesn't even look like the center wheel or the month indicator even works. I think they are just "printed" on the dial.

A gamble at best. Any paperwork, warranty card, etc? Will they let you take it for an appraisal/inspection?

You already have suspicions and it looks counterfeit. Unless you can afford to take the loss, I would pass.

Thanks, I thought it looked...off. I have a few vintage Omegas and such but haven't jumped into the Rolex world, yet. I just happened to find this and couldn't really tell what I was looking at. I appreciate your quick responses!

You would be able to tell just from the weight alone. The real deal SkyD in gold is a very heavy watch. This one would feel like a feather in comparison.

Funny how many fakes come either out of an estate sale or from someone's father's inheritance.

I'm surprised there's fake Skydwellers, not exactly a best selling Rolex model.
