Not for me....
Nothing the apple watch can do that
My XS Max can’t handle wearing either my
Bluesy or SD4K...

Apple walks in and says "Remove a band like this... remove a link like this" with their debut product... and totally schooled an entire industry.

It's like a five year old walking up and beating a UFC champ with a first round knock out.

We wear an inarguably inferior band/link system. There is no defending it, other than "Heritage".
And the point is ?

Put a rubber strap on your Rolex is that’s
your end all be all like an Apple Watch ...
I won’t be doing that though ...

I got the Apple 2nd-gen ceramic watch. Also bought a dozen wrist bands - velcro loops, metal mesh, silicone, and leather. The ability to instantly swap bands is great. Normally I wear it on the right wrist and my real watches on the left, but this week I got two new U-Boats, so the Apple is sitting in a vest pocket. I've found it handy for accurate time and semi-accurate weather, but nothing else. The analog clock face is decent, but the turnoff time is annoying, and charging requires their special cable only.

I can foresee myself wearing both a health monitoring watch and an automatic watch together someday :)

Not for me. I wore the same cheapo faux vintage Timex for literally a decade before getting my Exp and even then I just had no desire to get a smart watch. I guess I’m officially an Old.
