A. Lange & Söhne 25th Anniversary

While looking through my morning watch information (TRF, Hodinkee), I saw that the new 25th Anniversary Lange 1 information was released. A. Lange and Söhne has always been my grail and I think this reference looks outstanding. However, doubt I will get my hands on one as only 250 models will be produced. Still, absolutely love this brand.

It does look gorgeous. For me not sure if it’s worth the extra $, and not crazy about the increase in height due to the hinged case back. Also not sure how I feel about all the blue , especially at the cost of losing the applied markers.

I feel the same way. I'm not really feeling this but objectively, it's still a great watch.

Wow. White gold, white face and blue hands.....Wow. Always lusted after the Lange 1. This piece is fabulous. Really a piece to own as part of a collection, not to wear. If you've got the funds and the connections to secure one ....

I don't like it at all. the lack of applied markings, the segregation of the dial through different outlines and the blue color just don't seem up to ALS design standards. It seems to distract from the simplicity of the original design rather than enhance it. I like the back, but overall, I think this is a miss. I'd take a regular L1 or GL1 over this every time.

This, although I've never really loved the Lange One.
