16,5cm. it is borderline large but manageable. no firm conclusion yet, i need a few more weeks of wearing out. many people (friends and family) have told me that the SD43 is too large for me but i had no comments in this direction while wearing the 5968.
i am thinking 5164, but maybe the R model for a change (i could have it right away). if i go A i'd like to put the orange strap on it. do you know whether it will fit?

Its been discussed before and tested, the 42mm aquanaut line straps (blue from 5168g, black and orange from 5968 chrono) will not fit on the 5164 or 5167, regardless of which metal. The only straps that work for the 5164-5167 are the standard black, blue from 5650g aquanaut advanced research and the old khaki green that they (from what ive seen) don’t sell anymore.

It won’t - 5164 has small measurements is my understanding.

funny though, i saw an instagram post where the orange strap was fit on the 5168 which has the same case size as the advanced research. so the blue strap of the advanced research fits on the 5164 but the orange does not? i don't get it:::)))
