Rumor or Truth?
I have read on a couple of threads that Rolex stops shipping watches to ADs in September. Is there any validity to this? I would imagine a shipment before the holliday season but that’s just speculation. Would Rolex let this information out?
Thanks for any input! |

Pure rumor. That hasn’t been a Rolex strategy in the past.

No one knows what they do from year to year. Typically, deliveries are made throughout the year. Last year demand was higher than anticipated and certain models were sold out by late fall. Whether that scenario will repeat this year is unknown.

The only way I could see this coming about is if they have a factory shut down in August for the staff summer holidays. Quite common across Europe for this to happen, but no idea if it’s something Rolex does.
