Finally, no longer the only one with the Ti SMP!

Here is your watch's much older brother, one of the rare ones with the Bond bracelet and white box around the date window.

Congrats on that titanium model, it does rock da house

So it must feel as light as a feather? I thought they had stopped making this model now, so did you get it used or brand new?

Is the titanium 3AL 2.5V or 6AL 4V?

Chip you pic whore... but you do have great photography skills! Actually your collection of Ti photos were the inspiration of my purchase. So kudos to you as well!

I think the white date box complements the electric blue wave dial really well, very cool like. I do wish mine came with the Bond bracelet but I understand that has been out of production for quite some time; nonetheless, the Speedie bracelet is very comfortable. Thanks for recommending wristwatches.com, Adam gave me a great resource as to where I can purchase the rubber for a real decent price!

Yes Steve, the Ti is real light. I tried the SS version (which I love as well) but the Ti's bezel was my determining factor...well actually the weight and properties of Ti.

I purchased my 2231.50 through a friend brand new from the place she works; put it this way, the cost was cheaper than the MSRP of 2252.50. It really was a no-brainer why I chose the Ti over the SS.

How are you liking your GMT? You should consider a rubber strap as it fit nicely with the 1/2 sliver 1/2 black bezel. We can form a "mini-group buy" as I have a great source. ;)

[edit] I've got no idea whether its 3A2.5V or 6AL4V...I can't find any markings on case back or bracelet either.
