Regards to the green SMP

I want to see it in the flesh. Wondering if its worth putting my name down for one. I'd wait for them to come up used, but worried if they will go into the sphere of stupidity and be worth more used than new.

Omega 2022 New Releases

Resemblances are uncanny to me. But kudos to Omega on Titanium Ultra Deep! Although that I can never pull that off due to size and thickness (especially considered the added nato loop underneath), it is hell of a watch!

It's no different to tech/automotive companies. They all end up bringing out their own variants of the competition- it's just that Omega does it better :-)

The ultra deep is cool but it’s not a wearable PO line. I can see making one version for retail sale but a whole line? I wish they would have updated the existing PO line and maybe released the ultra deep as a speciality.

I'm in total agreement. It's a niche product. I guess when Omega was designing these models they took the term "novelties" quite literally.

Not a big diver fan, but these watches are way too thick for my taste.

Thanks for posting. I must say that I'm surprised as I thought big 'n' thick dive watches were out of fashion now. Still, very nice to see utilitarian tool watches being made

Thanks for sharing! Nothing I'll actually end up buying but it's very tempting! Off to the Omega site I go!

I agree! Gonna have to be my poor man's version of AP ROC Green!

Strong, strong release. Even if a bit derivative based upon everyone else's new color schemes.

Big fan of the Ultra-Deep and the colorful AT line.

UD needs a date; colorful ATs needed a color-matching date wheel. Other than that, I think they did a good job.

So how does everyone stack rank the Diver 300m colors now? I think all colors are beautiful, but some are more beautiful than others. I really like the new green color, but I'd that ranked last.

  1. Blue
  2. Black
  3. Grey
  4. White
  5. Green

The gold/green speedy is so gorgeous. What you think is the MSRP there?

Cool releases. Really like the moonshine gold speedmasters and the white dial ultra deep.

USD ~$35k; for some reason the green dial is $1.5k cheaper than the Panda.

Probably because the Panda has a solid gold dial?

Sadly the strategy is homages and limited/special editions. Nothing says chasing Rolex more than these announcements.

Put my name down for a green as soon as I saw it. Has that missing piece of the puzzle that has been missing for me with the SMP.
Also has a tapering bracelet 20mm —> 18mm at the clasp and 9mm of micro adjustment in the the clasp.

Looks like the same bracelet. Is there a link re: new tapering bracelet?

I saw that, but I am not sure the host of that video is right. Why would they just do that on the green model, and not every other model. Of course, maybe all models have an updated bracelet. I just don't know...

Agree, I am not sure that video is accurate. If it is, I will be purchasing one. The only thing holding me back is the non-tapered bracelet.

The channel is standing by their statement. I think the clasp is updated only to integrate more. Maybe 18mm across the clasp. Idk.i see no taper.

Check out 4:04 of that video. I see no taper. I think the host of that video is wrong.

There is definitely no taper on that bracelet.

Like the AT colours and the 57 speedmasters look stunning.
