Suggestions Please

Hello,
So I am in need of suggestions from TRF. I have about $3200 to spend and I want a vintage piece. I would prefer to go with a professional model but that seems unlikely (I want a 1675). Any ideas of what could be gotten in my budget?
Thanks for your help.

Some careful shopping might net you a 16750?

The explorer is beautiful but I really want a bezel. Could a none date submariner be priced at around $3200?

I've seen matte dial 16800s with issues (but running) being offered in the low $3K range. Vintage 5512/5513 Subs at your pricepoint would likely be far from perfect as well, but might be good enough to wear as a "daily beater".

Good luck with the search, and I hope you're successful in landing a decent vintage piece!!

You could find a nice Tudor sub in your budget, just a thought

X2

This one was 2500 plus another 500 for the vintage rivet band....Great watch! It's like having a 1964 5513 on a shoestring budget.

Check out the 16700, the last GMT Master, before Rolex added the II. Easy for your budget, as is 16750.

That kind of money will get you a nice vintage Tudor Sub or maybe even a Big Block...if lucky.

But if you really want a vintage GMT.....that is want you should get. Have seen older GMT“s in that price range!

Here“s my Tudor Submariner 7021, aka Snowflake...got it for about $ 3000

Thanks for all the great ideas. The Tudor subs picture are wonderful. I had not thought about a big block either. I will make a purchase within the month and I'll be sure to post it on here.
Thanks again.
