Swiss vs Swiss - T <25

Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me the difference or significance of the two different markings on the dial. I am looking at a Explorer (1016) that has just "Swiss" on the dial ( 6 oclock position ). Most everyother Explorer I see has Swiss - T <25. My guess is that "Swiss" is an early model. I did see a vintage 1963 Explorer with only Swiss.
Thanks for your help,
John

Welcome! I think the T<25 is the service replacement dial.

T<25 is a marking used on a tritium lumed dial.

Swiss was used on early vintage model, and now on service dials with luminova lume.

Depends on when it was made. The first three of the serial number would help and/or a photo.

Here's a good explanation,
