Burgman-Scam

I purchased the Omega Speedmaster Professional Burgman was selling last Thursday. I asked several questions, felt comfortable sending the money and he confirmed he would ship the watch that night. He did not ship and said he would Friday. On Friday, he said it would have to be Monday. At this point I asked for my money back or send it by Saturday, which he agreed to do. On Saturday he still did not ship and asked for me to wait until Monday. On Monday he said he would have to figure it out Tuesday. I am now 100% convinced he is scamming. I have numerous texts backing my story.

I assume you wired the funds. Correct? Classic MO. The delay tactics allow the funds to hit their account at which point they are withdrawn and gone forever. Sorry.

Thank you, I have notified proper authorities and have kept documentation of all correspondents. I tried to do all due diligence. Spoke on the phone and had him send pictures of the watch with my name on a piece of paper. It seemed odd that he kept responding, even though he already had the money. It has been an aggravating experience to say the least.

The money was still in limbo and he needed to ease your concerns by responding, otherwise you could have tried to reverse the wire. These scammers are not stupid and know how the system works

Unfortunately that makes alot of sense now. I am hoping for the best, but it sounds unlikely. Tough lesson to learn.
