Oyster band available but far less common, and has the links vs clasp look.
I seen two In Rose gold recently.

I have seen them with a jubilee style clasp oyster bracelet too. Saw one recently at an antiques fair for £3,500. Didnt like the non president bracelet or the acrylic lens.
Also seen them with the super jubilee concealed clasp. Depends on its history I suppose and if the bracelet had ever been replaced.

Rolex offers the Day-Date with the oyster bracelet, as well as the president bracelet. Their website features a rose gold 36mm Day-Date with an oyster bracelet.

President and Oyster bracelets are available currently. The watch is a Day-Date no matter what bracelet as far as Rolex is concerned. See my Day-Date in my avatar for an example with the oyster.

I do not mean to pry but may I know if the serial of your gold DD and the gold oyster clasp number fit? Serial numbers of watches and clasp numbers should be near identical production lot.
I am trying to do a little research for my personal history books.
If this is an inappropriate and intrusion question please disregard and my apologies for bringing it up.

+1. I believe the current DD offering by Rolex only comes in President (bracelet). The Oyster has been dropped. Cheers,
