It works fine and does everything it needs to do.

I remember when Paneristi changed its site a few years ago. It became much more difficult (for me) to follow and I disengaged.

I love the TRF platform. Of course it's not perfect, but I can guarantee you that if we went to a new platform, it will be much worse.

Some of the suggestions given to help improve the current TRF are great ... just not sure if they can be implemented, but please don't go all new. Newer doesn't always mean better.

Just start one. You won't get a lot of people here to join. They think this platform is fine. Your new platform won't be for them.

You've to target new Rolex buyers who are under 30. And maybe have used a modern multi-media site like Discord.

Maybe there already is a popular Rolex server on Discord. Join that for a while. See whether its experience is better than TRF. If it is, leave this place.

It's Vbulletin 3 which went into beta the middle of 2003.

3.x was End-of-Lifed (EOL) late 2017

I think it works well as it is and looks nice and uncomplicated. And it's fast to render and lay out, which is important. I have played around with the search facility on occasion, it's good enough if you can get the hang of how to use it effectively.

I only view this forum via Tapatalk on my mobile. I’ve never used the desktop web version so can’t comment. But navigating, posting pics, etc is simple enough via this app.

I’m on Tapatalk about 75% of the time and the desktop web version about 25%. Tapatalk works really well.

The nice thing about it is how easy it is to load pictures. So simple.

I only open Tapatalk to upload a photo and then immediately go back to Safari (on the phone). I can't stand Tapatalk with its ads and lack of pages in the threads

Rolex forum 2.0?

90%+ TapaTalk and works fine. Has its own search function, uploads photos, and provides notifications/subscribed threads.

TRF is based on a decent platform and stable. And Steve isn’t selling your usage data like other platform choices.

Change blue to green, then don’t touch anything else for the next five years, then go back to blue. It’s Rolex forum after all.

Never mind. I have the premium version. That’s why I have no ads. Only 99 cents a month.

That’s a drawback of the TapaTalk code - surveys don’t display in native mode. But there is a quick access button to the webview of a thread and you’ll be able to participate.

Under "Edit Details" on your profile, there's still a section where you can add your instant messaging information like AIM (AOL) and Skype name lol Both companies that have been dead for years

If you mean polls, you're right, I don't think you can see those unfortunately.

It does a really great job of notifications and pictures though

I haven’t been able to upload a photo since I joined. Every other forum lets me upload right from my photo library. This wants third party hosts and resized images etc…It’s a forum that I visit to relax, I don’t need photo stress.
