Breitling 1884 Chronometre real or fake?

Hi
A friend proposed to sell me,among other watches, this Breitling and he sent a snap photo of it.I want to know if it appears legit or not,so as to save me the trip to his house which is in the next town to mine.
Thank you

Ask your friend where they bought it. If it was an AD then you are probably good. If he bought it off craigslist, eBay or some dude on the street I would pass. There are just too many fakies out there.

My reaction when I first saw it, was it looked bad. Lugs look strange, and so do the chrono pushers. I vote for fake.

The same "friend in the next town over" that wants to sell you a fake DSSD? Interesting Omega you found at your grandmother's house too.

If you have to question the authenticity, then you shouldn't be calling this person your friend
