I ventured "off the reservation" ( i.e. Rolex) to get a vintage Chronograph...
I can't justify making the very substantial investment in a vintage a Rolex Chronograph so I ventured into the world of Breitling and just got this beauty back from my watchmaker after a complete overhaul and new factory Crystal installation. Jason will be happy to hear that I did "just say No to polishing".
This not so little (48mm) gem is a Breitling Chronomat ref. 0818 dating back to about 1969 with a very robust Venus cal. 178 under the hood. I love it and just had to share.

Very cool retro piece.., and a great addition to any collection. I was considering a piece from 1971 similar to this borrowed internet pic, but the owner wants a number way above retail.... Yes, I like vintage chrono's as well..!
