Rolex Submariner on Jubilee bracelet

Hi, is there any chance they will start making a Submariner model with a Jubilee bracelet?

YG Bluesy on Jubilee must be awesome, in addition, it is much more resistant to scratches.

I don't think so, it's too dressy for a Dive watch, even Rolex couldn't market-spiel their way out of that one.

Is there any chance? Yes, there is a chance. Does the general WIS/TRF community think so? Doubt it. The oyster goes with the Sub. If you want a modern jubilee on with a Submariner-like wearing experience, get a GMT2.

A jubilee was in rotation for my 1680 Red and I liked it, but it's subjective of course.

as for modern, I'd never say never but close to it

I’d rather see Rolex offer an Oyster bracelet option for the Sub. IMO that’s a better fit

I think it's wise to wear a dive watch when you are watering the lawn. You never know.

Not a fan of the Jubilee on the Submariner. Oyster all the way and if I want a rubber strap on mine I can utilize a Rubber B or other aftermarket strap. The bracelet and clasp on the Submariner are the best in the market.

Looks amazing, especially the classic jubilee on a vintage Sub.

Interesting look but not my cup of tea. I think tool watches should be on the oyster bracelet with more dressy ones having the option of the jubilee one

I think the Submariner is meant to be worn on Oyster. It matches the robust character of the case and overall look.

That said, I do admittedly like when people put older Jubilee bracelets on vintage Submariners. In the same way, I think a Datejust looks best on an OEM bracelet, but I kind of like the charm of seeing a vintage DJ on a leather strap.

As much as I like the Jubillee, I think it looks a bit weird on a Sub.

Although I really like how it looks on my BB58

I’m installing from my DJ36 , looking good.

Jubilee with submariner clasp will be ok.
