On reflection, it’s perhaps not surprising that Fury was game to dangle such an exorbitant carrot for a bit of sparring. The two-time heavyweight world champion isn’t shy of wildly big-hearted gestures. After his first fight with Deontay Wilder in 2018, Fury donated his entire £7 million purse to UK charities to build homes for alcohol and drug addicts.

Great story I used to think Tyson was a bit of an idiot but I watched a series on him and totally changed my mind he’s got his demons which I suppose most of us do have something but he and his family came accross really well you don’t hear enough of things like this everyone always seem eager to highlight the negative things, well done Tyson

I couldn’t stand him. As previously mentioned my opinion changed when I watched the documentary series on him. Stand up guy.

The chap who owns they gym I use has met him and fought in a few bouts that he was fighting at in his amateur days. He said he is exactly how he was portrayed and hasn’t changed.

I wasn't a fan of his views before, he was a victim of his very narrow minded upbringing, but his battles with mental illness have made him a much more sympathetic and humane man, and he is a fine boxer too. He has turned it around.

Golden question - who is the better boxer now - AJ or Fury?

Fury is, and has the tougher chin, but AJ probably hits harder, so in a Heavyweight contest Fury is not guaranteed a win, but he is the overwhelming fav. He would not have been out of place in the golden era of Lewis, Holyfield and Tyson.

Thanks for sharing. I liked the clip of McGreggor training with his DayDate.

Not sure the last bit of your comment is actually true but it sure sounds good!
