Vintage Audemars Piguet Jules Quartz

Hello everybody, I'm new here. I'm just looking for some info about an AP I have, which is kinda rare. It's a vintage quartz AP from the '80s, I think it's a Jules model. I uploaded a picture of the same watch found on europeanwatch. com

I would like to know what's its worth, considering that right now it's not functioning correctly and to fix it AP is asking me 780€.

Would you guys recommend fixing it or trying to sell it as it is?
Thanks for any advice,
Francesco

I did a quick check on Chrono24 and found the following which looks like pretty much what you have except with a date:

https://www.chrono24.com/audemarspig...US&SETCURR=USD

Price for that one is $3625, so maybe you’ll get $1500-$2000 if you sell it?

If you can get very little money like that, fix it and keep it for your collection, it looks very nice to me.

What is the size of the case?

Another interesting thing about this one is that you clearly see where the inspiration for the Code 11.59 hands come from.
