When you put them all three together,
Hulk wins hands down. Period.

Why at flirts glance I honestly thought the one on the far right (the original Kermit) looks flimsy almost like a cheap replica compared to the other two

I would say hulk for now. Becus if Kermit is the one then I think the first gen Kermit will be more collectable. Same like a Jordans1 they usually do the old colour on the new shoes but end of the day the old and original is most ppl wanted. Just my opinion hahaha

I prefer the 16610LV, but the hulk is amazing too with the green dial so have both.

I think the Hulk, green dial etc.. on the other hand I had the Hulk and looks dull and pale after a couple of months, I got rid of it and got me a nice Kermit which I enjoy more.. anyway, I believe no one can really tell

Ceramic insert will never “pop” in color like this one

The 50th LV is the last and only stand alone guaranteed collectible Sub. Anything after is just supply and demand.

The Hulk is just on another level especially because of it's dial.

That’s even duller than the Hulk.. and definitely not even close to the Kermit, insert is so dark and unappealing.. I would go for the LN

From the picture, I thought the one on the far left is original Kermit.

How can you tell that it looks like replica (no matter which one)?

I believe it will be the 116610 Hulk.
- Last in historical 40mm format, as well as the strap and buckle.
- Sunburst dial. No steel Sub now offers it, you have to take out the big bills (two-tone or full gold).
And the magical, living side, the reflections, that no other LV has.

The previous one 16610 reached its peak in value, and in terms of material used and quality (bracelet) is already too much. I see a lot of them displayed at 18K, which are struggling to leave. 13-14K is a realistic price. There is no risk of taking off, everything is done. I also find the bezel, in green too bland.

And finally I find the 126610 Kermit to be nothing more than a black version, with a green bezel glued to it. Recycled from the Hulk as a bonus. Much less personality. Too early to tell, but I can't see it explode, nothing special to have it !

So I think the Hulk has not finished climbing. Around 30K in the future. I do not see another, but rational to you to see, just my thoughts...

My vote goes to the Hulk.

1. 1st Original Green Ceramic Submariner
2. Sun Burst Dial
3. 40mm is the perfect size

Thanks guys. I have just purchased the Hulk. To be honest, it is itchy for me to look for the original Kermit now

Lame answer to this thread about collectibility. The original Kermit wins hands down.

But the Hulk is SOOO much cooler and will draw your attention so much more.

Congrats on the cooler watch.

Thanks but Hulk is also very collectible on par with Kermit, isn’t it?

I would think HULK. The reason, it's the only colored dial in SS and then it's also ceramic bezel which never fades and will look same even after 30-40 yrs from now. Kermit will soon become dated compared to Hulk.
