Wimbledon dial Date just 41 Everose gold or steel?

Hello good people!

I’m considering a Wimbledon dial date just 41.
Which one looks sexier - the steel/Everose gold or the full steel edition?
Help me make up my mind!

I love it in SS, jubilee, fluted dial. So much so, I've ordered one!

You see, there’s my dilemma. I like both SS & TT versions. Currently, leaning towards the TT in rose gold slightly.

Would love to know eveyone’s suggestions 🤗

This is one watch that I think looks absolutely amazing in two tone. The green markers really play with the yellow gold very very well. That being said, I still like steel watches better just about every time.

Fair point. Of the two choices you provided, TT RG is sexier to me. The gold coronet and hands add undeniable sex appeal.

It does look pretty good in rose gold (via pictures)! I'm not really the biggest fan of yellow gold and that's the only TT Wimbledon dial I have seen in the metal. Personally, I like the TT RG and SS about the same, so I would probably pick the SS and save the $4k for the next watch. I'm sure you'll love whichever one you choose!

I chose the steel myself and it’s a stunner but to be honest I don’t think you can go wrong with this dial in whatever configuration you decide on!!

Though the two tone is beautiful I'm not sure you would want it for an everyday piece. Stainless it is.

I just wish that the Wimbledon dial didn’t have the white marker at 9, just looks out of place.

You have to definitely go for TT. I had myself SS and recently sold it. Too plane and monotonous! Felt pity for jot getting the TT. Most likely soon I will go for it.

I’m a big fan of this piece in a stripped down SS version on oyster with a smooth bezel.

With that dial i would go stainless.
Two tone for me would go with a simpler dial.

That’s what I’m feeling also. My local AD has offered me both- to be kept on hold till tomorrow for me. Just need help choosing the right one.

You see, that’s my dilemma as well.
I wonder which holds value - the TT or the SS model? Another AD recently told me the SS Wimbledon is harder to get and there usually is a 4-5 month wait for that one whilst the TT is still available with most ADs.

This is fantastic - probably my favorite version. The next choice would be rose gold - love the hue.

I’m not too fond of gold Rolex watches also. But like you and many others, I think the TT really suits this particular dial.

I’m so torn between the two. I think will try out both and take the better one between the two 🤗

Go with the rose gold version if you want TT. They look really good and it mutes the flash factor of yellow gold

It looks like they were trying to balance out the date at 3 with a lume stick at 9. I always thought it was odd, too.

OP, my buddy has the rose, fluted, jubilee and it's a stunning watch. Made me forget all about that stick at 9. I'd vote for two tone on this one.

This dial looks great in every configuration. I’m not a huge fan of the baton at 9 but overall I think it looks quite nice and ranges from versatile to dressy. Would depend on what else is in your collection and what role you want this one to fill (everyday casual wear or dressier/flashier feel) and then make the decision based on that.
