UK Service advice

I have just purchased a MK4 DRSD from 1980 it is actually in very nice condition, But I know nothing of any service work being carried out ,I have read so much and think I'm correct in saying these early watches may have come with out a trip lock crown but at service Rolex just fitted the new tube and crowns it appears to have the trip lock crown so may at some time been serviced.

The goal is to wear this along with some other watches and id like the "SPA" treatment just a refinish of the bracelet and new plexi and a movement service ,Who would you recommend in the UK ?

Many Thanks

1980 - came with a trip-lock on a SD.

Any decent watchmaker can service the movement, and perhaps get the plexi.

A Rolex AD can re-finish the bracelet.

May we see photos of it? Congrats.

BTW - 1980 is a bit late for a DRSD... what's the serial no. on the case (first couple of digits)?

I have had a few serviced with William Rice, he's pretty good.
