Bezel ring price

I’m looking to change out my bezel ring because it’s a bit worn.

Where can I find one and how much am I expecting to pay? I’ve checked here on the forums and on fleabay with not much luck.

Thanks,
Redmy

They come up in the parts section here and also several sellers that regularly have inserts available might also have rings.

There's one in there now for $800 that seems way overpriced to me. I think $100-200 range on used or NOS market seems right. RSC has them too but not that easy to buy parts direct.

The same ring will fit 5513, 5512, 1680 and possibly other models.

For a nice one, I would easily expect to pay $800, give or take.

There is an off chance you could walk in to a Rolex service center, but even that is much more difficult these days.

It does look like the price has gone up like most of the vintage and new Rolex watches...it has been a few years, but I've bought and sold them in the $200 range. You can do an advanced search in the rolex parts section of the FS forum and see a number of current or recent sales, one of which was a new in package full assembly at $1250. No idea what RSC charges.

I saw those. Sort of pricey that’s why I wanted to ask for advice.

Thanks

Any difference in service bezel rings vs a regular/original one?

I’ve never heard of that before but I found someone saying he has a service bezel ring. I guess it was swapped during service but I still can’t see how they can differentiate a service one from a original/normal one.

I've never heard of bezels for $200. You must be referring to bezel inserts.

Expect to pay between $750 to $1000 for a Sub 5513 stainless steel bezel - price is based on the fit and condition.

From personal experience fairly recently, I know that RSC London push to do this on an exchange basis - not the actual bezel insert but pretty much anything else with a 50% mark up without any exchange. An example - GMT2 bezel assembly quoted at £230 with exchange, or £345 without.

A new bezel ring for a 16710 GMT is circa $180 from a Rolex AD/Service Centre, here in Zurich. I'd imagine a similar service part for a 5513 would be about that, too. Trade your worn one in (most likely required by AD), get the new one you want.

Curiously, would tritium bezel inserts for watches of that period be around $200? (i.e. 5513,14060,79090) thanks!

Which year or case number?
The period correct insert would be different depending on this.
Dimensions would be the same but font different

I was asking about the bezel ring, not the insert.
