Rolex Submariner 1680 Red Servicing Canada?

Hello everybody and happy New Year!

My farther recently left me his 1972 Rolex Submariner 1680 Red. I am very interested in having this watch properly serviced by someone who knows vintage watches. I live in Canada on the West coast. I am wondering what my options are here? Vancouver? or Toronto?

Many thanks all!
Steve!

Hi Steve,

I would either take it to either:

http://thegermanwatchmaker.sites.ca/index.php

I've had work done by both.

Couple quick pics! I'll take some more tomorrow. The watch is in the safe! :)

It's been serviced by rolex twice already. Some parts have already been replaced. I'm looking to avoid any future loss of its originality!

Appreciate all the help!
Much thanks!

Bryn Quinlan at J.Vair in Calgary is an amazing watchmaker, he used to work for Rolex and has vintage parts, only downside is he is booked solid for months usually so you'll be waiting for a few months to get your watch back.

It's already been to RSC twice? If so, just use them again and specify you don;t want the watch polished, the dial replaced or the hands changed.
