Rolex explorer II on ebay

Hello, I am considering purchasing my second rolex watch. I currently have sub C, and am looking to add an explorer II.

Can i get your thoughts on this?

Thanks in advance,
Steve.

Well worn. Likely an aftermarket Crystal, otherwise ok

The papers show it as a D-serial, but it's a lug-hole case with a tritium dial? Yeah, I don't think so.

Likely a mid-90's watch and as David mentioned, the crystal is probably aftermarket. Whoever reinstalled the bezel didn't center it properly either. Also, the bracelet is not original.
That said, everything there looks genuine. However, the bad crystal/bezel work, fake papers, and incorrect bracelet would be more than enough for me to move on to the next. YMMV...

Good spot it's 100% not D serial so as said I would pass on the fake papers. I am not convinced the bracelet isn't original though, looks ok to me. Pass on this one though as said bezel and crystal look in terrible shape.

Good call. I should have stated "might not be" original. As in: Authentic, but possibly not original to the watch. Most 16570s of that era (80's/90's) were sold with the standard 78360 (non flip-lock) bracelet. However, you could elect for the 93150 flip-lock bracelet at an additional cost. In the mid/late 90's they switched over to the 78790 flip-lock for the 16570, with the smaller buckle (and no diver extension). Then finally in the 00's to the 78790A (SEL) flip-lock bracelet.

So, it is certainly possible that the bracelet is original, but given the sketchy/franken nature of the watch, I'd have my doubts...
