Changing 16710 to a 1675/16750

I was curious on general thoughts on trading in my full set 16710 for a good example but naked, matte dial 1675/16750.

I personally like the 1675/16750 over the 16710. The only thing that gives me pause is I'll be losing the full set. Not that the "investment" portion of a full set is super critical to me, I wear my watches, but it was nice to have if that makes sense.

If it were you would you keep the nice full set 16710 or roll with a good example 1675/16750???

Sorry, no pictures yet. I haven't found the 1675/16750 example. Taking my time to find the right piece.

I understand this all really comes down to personal preference and various variables between the two watches but would still appreciate general thoughts and insight.

To me you said the important thing....you wear your watches....if you are buying this watch to wear, not as an investment, I wouldn’t worry about the box and papers....you can always source a box if you want and while the papers are cool, I’d go with your emotions and get then1675/16750.

While I didn’t have a full set 16710, I did in fact sell mine to fund a birth year 1675. The small markers on a 16710 (albeit with white gold surrounds) just don’t have the warmth of the maxi markers on a nicely patinated 1675.

I had a 16700 that I barely didn't wear, I sold it and then bought a 1675 (+ money on top of course). This one I wear as a daily...both pepsi !

Keep the full set and save up your pennies for a 1675.

Without seeing your current kit, and pics of the specific GMTs you’re thinking of acquiring, it’s difficult to give any meaningful advice. But, taken as a thought experiment I would make the trade.

Yes....would think a bit more about losing the 16710. Am fortunate to have this and the 1675/16750. Whilst both of these are really great watches, I am inclined to be even more cautious when wearing them. My 16710 on the other hand goes just about anywhere.

I would keep your full set 16710, more usable for daily wear & tear. But that me.
