thanks guys. this may sound odd, but i'v never had a leather band watch which was as instantly comfy on my wrist as this baby. Not even my IWC's...as both took like a week or even two for the band to properly "mold" to my wrist. Simply put: a whole lot of watch for your buck.

Congratulations!!!!

Indeed a great one. Below, you will see mine. I love the King. Wore it at Ft. Bragg for years jumping out of planes and all through Afghanistan and multiple deployments in other parts unmentionable. Will be kept for my eldest son. Just so much emotional attachment and value. I still wear it often, although currently the BLNR is getting max wrist time.

I think that Hamilton is a really well priced and yet overlooked brand. Great history too with the military and railroad. Fascinating.....

I also have a Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic. Came with a leather strap and has now been replaced with the factory steel bracelet. A bit big for me, but also VERY nice for dressy occasions. I need to sell this thing to make room for others. I love that both of my Hamilton's are automatic and have the clear back to see movement. Just makes it a bit more fun.

Yes, well balanced does describe it. Although the only fly in the ointment for me is the cutting into / cutting off of the 11 and 1. If fixed, it would be perfectly balanced IMHO. Still, for the price a GREAT one!!! I love it to pieces anyway as we have had quite a good and long run together.
