Wife’s Demand was Too High

A used black Sub with a stainless bezel at an AD was being offered at a good price. My wife said I could get it if I’d quit looking at watches on the internet. I told her to forget it and handed the watch back!

Not for me, I’d take the sub. Easier to find a wife than a sub these days

I’d rather see this Sub with the stainless bezel.

Glad you followed the orders of your ruler !

Use the Sub money as a retainer fee for a lawyer.

Tell her to stay off of FB, see how long she can last. The day when someone tells me how to spend disposable income, will be when pigs fly.

Nonsense thread = makes no sense. OP said he "could get the watch" (so he did not yet buy it), then he "handed it back to her" because he couldn't browse on the web. Which is it? What a crock.

OP you just gave up your manhood.

Now go back to that store and buy the watch. Seriously. Otherwise I've lost hope in humanity.

It's funny that every time I'm on the forum now, my wife asks if I'm talking to my friends on the forum. I keep explaining that isn't how it works. A forum is about discussion of topics. Almost no conversation is directly between members. She get a bit jealous that I multitask, watching TV and reading the forum at the same time.
