I haven’t been around for a few months so have probably missed the threads on this new release, but what does everyone think of the new Sea Dweller?
I’ve never been a fan of bi metal watches, but I have to admit, the more I look at this piece the more I like it.
I currently own the SD43 and I love it. I can honestly say that I haven’t taken it off for more than a day since picking it up over year ago.
Has anyone picked one of these up yet? I would love to see some pictures.

I like it. I like TT watches - in a rotation.

I’m looking forward to seeing it ‘in the metal’ as soon as my AD gets one.

I think SDs should remain SS tool watches as much as possible. Makes me like my DSSD even more. Although if they made a PT DSSD I would probably have to buy it.

Prefer a two tone Submariner LN. This is just too weird. It's like they put lipstick and a wig on a soldier. The Sea-Dwellers were always "that" watch, now they finally neutered it, I guess the Explorers are the only legacy carrying watches now.

Guess as we get over it this might become a hit...but if the same happens as before where people see the same versions of the Submariner and Sea-Dweller for sale, why would you pay more for a two tone SD43 when a Submariner 116613 is cheaper and looks the same. This always hindered sales of Sea-Dwellers with the general public, although today with the high demand, anything will sell. Given the choice, I prefer the two tone black Submariner.

Come to think about, is the two tone LN even in production still.....

I have an sd43 also and I love it. But the TT kills it dead in my humble opinion. The colours are so good in the metal. I love it and it's been on my wrist since picking it up.

From the pictures I have seen it’s the best looking TT Rolex in production, and honestly I like it better than the SD43 in SS.

The TT SD43 is beautiful but would hang on to the SS SD43 as Rolex may cut the production of SS SD43 to push this TT version

I like the TT black sub a lot, and this is basically just that but bigger. I'd personally go for the sub first, but for the bigger-wristed the SD looks like a fine option.

Agreed. I don’t understand what the big deal is. The current SD is basically a larger sub, cyclops and all. The TT sub has been around for a while, so the TT SD43 doesn’t seem like a stretch at all. The argument that the SD is more of a “tool” than the Sub and should therefore be immune from PM is such baloney.

Not for me... I'm not into PCLs on oyster and not big on TT either. But I love my SS SD43.

Totally agree with this. Personally I’d choose a few different references/brands, especially at this price point, but I can see the appeal of this.

The more I look at it the more I’m drawn to it. The issue for me is, given the choice and all three put out in from of me would I choose the TT SD43 over the SS Skydweller or the 126660 James Cameron... I’m not so sure. If I could get all three however my Rolex line up would be complete
