So much drama over a few Rolex watches. Can we get back to real issues people!? Like who Justin Bieber shagged last night?

Ok that's ridiculous. I think anyone with half a brain can surmise that Jundi was telling the truth. Now he did a stupid thing by letting the AD's name slip, but the AD is in damage control mode and Jundi was just having some fun with the madness in this thread. I don't think he did anything wrong, certainly shouldn't be banned.

Yea I didn't go there with it at all. I figured a mod banned him because of the multiple account issue brought up prior by someone. I'm not sure if that's a rule here, but of others forums I've been a part of it was always a ban if you created multiple accounts and were caught.

Waiting for the purchaser of the root-beer to reveal it all with the warranty card. Sheiban Jewelers still lurking... great deal of suspense!

Wow. Glad someone bumped this. I was largely away from the forums the past few weeks due to work and completely missed out on this. This was more entertaining than a lot of what's on TV these days!

Hope that doesn’t effect the person who may or may not have purchased the CHNR.

Bummer he was banned, but if he violated rules re: 2 accounts, c'est la vie.

Jundi was certainly humorous as was this thread, plus always nice to see an AD blasted.

If the AD is still lurking I think that speaks volumes to who's telling the truth... hint: not the AD

Oh, this AD must be beyond thrilled Jundi got the boot.
I do not have proof, but I would bet dollars to doughnuts that Sheiben made the deal with Jundi and are now watching this thread like hawks as people realize their "list" is toilet paper and the bundle sale to Jundi means they are "flipper-enablers".

The morale of the story:

If you have 50k $ laying around you can beat the waitlist on the Daytona and get it at msrp.

Also, money can buy you a lot but it does not buy you class!

Also, someone else linked to this post: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=447990

Where OP made 2 accounts and pretty much promoted himself as a seller.

Wow. I’m not the only one thinking this is super shady right? I see a lot of people claiming the AD is trying to save face but it sure seems this guy was being deceptive.

Guess it doesn’t matter now.

Yes it’s a rule - no dual accounts. TRF has a simple set of rules and I don’t get how people routinely skip reading them.

I didn’t report him but when the evidence mounted that two accounts were under his control and some other rules were broken, I’m guessing someone reported it.

It could be a temporary suspension - but a lot has to do with what the mods/admin learned by tracing IP addys of the two accounts.

Do you see why I love TRF ?
Where else would you have learned about the silly ways people use
for the acquisition of 3 Rolex watches ....so they can get one at retail ?

This has to be one of the most 'interesting' threads that has been on here for a while but there are some important points:

1) We will never know quite out of the seller and the AD who is telling the truth
2) Something somehow suggests that some form of 'deal' was done between the AD and Jundi which the AD would have much preferred had never got into a public arena. The exact nature of this and what was sold for what we can never know ...
3) That this shows why it is getting so hard to get near the Daytona, BNLR or BLRO etc. Lets face facts, the new BNLR is less than a year old and there are 30+ already for sale on Chrono 24. All Rolex would have to do is be a mystery shopper, buy a pile of these and then chase the provenance (which would be pretty easy to do as these are all by definition straight flips...) and then go hell for leather at the ADs. It has no intention of doing so. Indeed at Baselworld Rolex got a very average reception but by allowing these games you now see the new BLNR for USD 20k or more and so now everyone wants it. As far as Rolex is concerned, problem solved. They can occasionally play tokenism with the odd AD but that is about as far as they will go. They have huge demand for their products and they take no risk. A perfect market for them!

So whilst we don't quite know what happened that stuff going out the backdoor onto the world of the flippers is clearly alive and well. That's probably the most clear thing you can get from this.......

FD.

And the morale is.... In life, money talks!

I actually believe Jundi and his bundle, naming the AD was a bad move, but so many haters for a super purchase he made.

Anyway, can we now go back to the normal program of "where can I buy a Daytona, Pepsi, Batman, Hulk with discount?"

Yes, interesting thread!
- OP posts a 'deal'
- AD gets involved
- OP outed as having multiple accounts for pumping
- OP Banned

I feel better about the "thift store find" story

This was entertaining

I am sorry the guy got banned, but that's the deal for breaking the rules. I can not say any better than what many have already replied.

I for one respect those that have the balls to think outside the box and seize an opportunity. I would have done the same thing, except I am not sure I would have posted about it, nor would I have pandered to giving up the AD's name if I did decide to post about it. I don't think anything was unethical about either his nor the AD's actions.

This thread, read like a short story, with a plot, twists and turns, and an open ending left to interpretation as to what really occurred. All this while interspersed with the replies from the haters and those that were challenged with math or recognizing a good business deal with the OP's witty retorts made it all the more entertaining...
