Icon20 This is my DD

Hi everyone,
I was looking for a DD from last Sept. with wife said yes.
Through the google I found here, what a amazing forums with amazing watches and peoples... one day, I read this post (Thanks Canook ):
"I shouldnt be allowed out unsupervised near Rolex shops!!"

After searched around, I found a Russian shop has stock in full set with a good price, I send few messages through the website but no replied till 3 weeks late he told me someone from London bough that one
2 weeks late, a AD from London was selling the same one with same pics mark up 25% I still want it but they told me someone bought it at 2nd day.
OK... keep searching, lots of DDs but hardly found these models (18308, 18108, 18078) , I almost give up and turning to 18206.

Last week during the lunch break, I was walking through The Strand Arcade for window shopping, the this DD right in the middle of the display window, OMG.

Rolex Day Date 18308 1.jpg

Walked in and give it a try.

Congrats. I think the hunting process for the desired watch always makes the purchase even sweeter.

This is my DD. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My Rolex DD is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My DD, without me, is useless. Without my DD, I am useless.

Congrats, she looks great and VERY MUCH appreciate that you change up the strap / bracelet. Well played sir!

Thanks, yes, I think the strap is suitable for everyday use, but, only thing is it's looks like hard to change by myself so far.
