"Kermit"16610V Current Market Value?

The "Kermit"16610V is my dream watch and I am seeking advice on purchasing one in 2020. I know the price has fluctuated over the past few years and this may be my only opportunity to purchase Kermit at a reasonable price.

What is fair market price for "Kermit"16610V in very good condition?

At what price point would you consider buying "Kermit"16610V? (considering current market conditions during pandemic)

I own two. I wouldn't sell either. Not right now. Not under these conditions. Great time to buy though.

This one just sold at a reasonable price. Great condition. Full set. Best of luck.

timepieceperfection always had reasonable prices, even before CoViD.

I presume you are looking for a pointed-4, because the flat is >50% more.

"Reasonable" price depends on condition and completeness, and how much you want that particular watch. It's a discontinued reference so anything goes. Most of the times, I don't mind spending more ("unreasonable") for the right example of a discontinued model. Examples that "speak to you" don't come often...Anyway.

I think anything sort of 13K for a mint full set is reasonable right now. Was 14-16K pre-CoViD. It also depends on who is the seller. Private ones are more likely to be "reasonable."

$13k for a mint set is a really good price. If you can find it.

Must admit of all the watches I own, this watch screams class and coolness !!!....
It’s a watch that was cool before the craziness, remember bring offered one in 2005 when I was obsessed with panerai thinking I just don’t get how wrong was I !!!!

Seeing all the beautiful wrist shots makes me want one.

I have been looking for Kermit for 13K USD or less with Box and papers the one sale on TRF for $12900 USD shows the price may be going down. I am looking to get one in June/July timeframe and plan to wait and see if the price goes down to 12k USD with box and papers. I think 7-10% discount is possible if I wait. This may be be last time the Kermit is an attainable watch for me to purchase.

The "Flat 4" is, IIRC, the "Mk. I" edition of the Hulk, and the "4" on the bezel has a flat top. See post #14 on this thread.

It is collectible and notably pricier.

Chrono24 has over 1200 LV green subs for sale online. Plenty of samples to check prices on.

Yes but their prices are inflated because of Chrono 24 fees compared to TRF classified adds. They are not indicative of the actual market price especially with the Kermit pricing.

I had one and sold it, green was just not my color.

Be very careful with the Kermit purchase since it is a very easy watch to fake.

Thank-you, learned another tidbit today. Amazing what a "4" character difference makes to price. Guess its like having a currency bill with something off vs run of the mill....

There's no exact figure and putting a range can be tough. People say up to 50% more but I've seen a wide range.

I saw one at the IWJG show, mint, full set, everything- never been worn- for $18K. I laughed and thought that was crazy, until one went for stupid money several months ago (something like $30K).

I've sold two very nice sets the past year. Expect to pay around $13,500 - maybe a little more or less - for a nice set with the pointed "4" bezel insert. The flat "4" sets which are the Y9 through around Y5 serial numbers sell for around $10,000 more than the later pointed "4" models.
