Ugh what an impossible choice. I succumbed and got the Jumbo on the secondary market. I’m desperately trying to somehow, someday get a 5164a at retail. It’s definitely a grail for me.
I can only say get the one that sings...

The 15202st has a quickset date. Go to 12am, then turn the minute hand back to 50 minutes (or maybe 45), then back to 00 and the date turns. Never was an issue when I had mine and needed to reset the date.
I’m shopping for a 5164a. I’m more of a casual, sports style type. I really liked the 15202, but honestly felt too self conscious of the fragility Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Having owned the 15202 and a 5167 (close enough) I would go 15202.
But since you have a 5711 then a 5164 adds more variety in my mind.

I did get a 15202, and it is the only AP watch that I would buy.
It's a beautiful watch so I wear it everyday. I swear I wear it very carefully but some hairline scratches are appearing mysteriously on the bracelet. |

If you get the 15202 be sure to get a wonder or not care that your date will be wrong... my 15202 date is only right once a month LOL. pain in the tush.... but i love it. Have both; they are both totally different watches. I think I’d get the 5164a since you have the 5711 already.

Good choice with the 15202. Much more artisanal craft and provenance than the 5164. Although an aqua would be a great addition. Sometimes I still miss my 5167

I love both and enjoy owning both, so I’ll refrain from casting a vote here. As many are emphasizing the quickness of setting the date on the 15202, I just feel that I have to chime in to say: get the AP winding tool! It completely changes the ownership experience for the Jumbo from indeed being a burdensome watch to set into becoming a pleasure interaction every time you set it. My two cents.

15202ST is such an iconic watch, you must have one if you like the general AP RO design.

https://www.watchprosite.com/audemar...80189.9423329/ Anyone walking away from the Jumbo for the lack of quick set date MUST experience this before parting with (or refraining from buying) one of the most iconic and beautiful watches out there. |

Have and love both. However the 5164A is the one I wear most and would be the last to part with. Easy to wear, great travel complication and fine looking.

I'd go for 5164.
You already have a integrated ss model in Nautilus. But can't go wrong either way. |

While This is certainly a timesaver vs full turns around the clock, the small crown makes the action very frustrating constantly being unintentionally pushed back into winding position.
