I am laughing SO hard, I'm cryin!

Poor guy is really trying to get the damn pics up - - you can tell.
But, I hope that HE knows that the ribbing is all in good fun.

And, I agree that it took me a long time to figure out how to post pics, and I STILL don't find it easy - - (Maybe I'll try the TapaTalk app to make it easier).

But . . . gotta admit . . . this was like a comedy routine! Thanks for an entertaining 10 mins of reading this saga.

And last?? Mr. "jstout"? Don't give up! This is an awesome group of folks who will go way out of their way to lend you a hand. They know, a LOT, about these little timepieces, and have a great devotion to treating them well. Remember, it was your Grandad's watch, so no matter what it runs out to be, it's got sentiment for you, and that makes it priceless.

Based on your pictures , I would definitely send this into Rolex for a full restoration and service . The rings I am guessing are costume jewelry.
