FS- Rolex 16570 Explorer II Polar Holes Case Swiss Only Dial

For sale is an excellent condition 40mm stainless steel Rolex Explorer 2. The 16570 is a A serial, circa 1999, and is not accompanied by any box or papers. The Rolex features a brushed steel case which is accented by a fixed brushed steel 24 hour GMT bezel that is engraved with black enamel units. The Explorer 2 is mounted on a brushed steel period correct 78790 Oyster bracelet with 501B end links and that is secured by a safety lock deployment clasp. The bracelet contains 11 full size Oyster links, will comfortably fit a 7.25 inch wrist, but does contain stretch which is consistent with the watches age, would rate it 85%. The Rolex features a white “Swiss Only” dial with applied black outline superluminova coated stylized hour markers, black superluminova coated hands, and a magnified date window aperture at 3 o’clock. The movement used in the 16570 is the Rolex calibre 3185 which features approximately 50 hours of power reserve and was COSC certified. Overall the Rolex is in excellent condition however the clasp has been slightly over polished and there are some faint markers on the date wheel.
