New in TRF
Hi guys,
My name is Alvaro, I'm from Santiago, Chile. I'm on my early 30's, working as a finance manager, and love watches. I've started collecting about 3 years from now, but just take it seriously since a couple of months thought. After having more than 20 pieces, from Fossil to Rolex, I currently have a small collection of just 5 pieces: a Seiko Blumo, an Omega SMPc, an Omega Speedy FOIS, a Tudor Submariner 79190 in blue and my grail, a Rolex Submariner 16610 with engraved rehaut. I'm looking to add more pieces in the near future but trying to take it slowly from here (is hard, I know!) and add watches I really like to have in my collection. For example, as a goal for this year I'm planning to add a pilot watch to the collection (Navitimer 41mm or IWC Pilot mark xviii) by the second half of the year, and in the meantime I'm saving for my next Rolex, the new 2016 Explorer I 214270, a watch I really really want to have in my box. Finally, I'm here to learn more about this fine pieces, and from other watch collectors as well, and hope to share some of my experience with watches too. Best, Alvaro |
