Would you mind sharing the process of acquiring an off catalogue Omega?

Many thanks!

It was pretty simple actually. I asked and explained why I really wanted the sapphire (match my wife’s wedding jewellery. )

They applied for it and 6 months or so later I got an extremely surprising call.

I’m not an overly big spender or anything but they know I’m not a flipper etc.

That’s great! Glad to see the watch going to a good owner who appreciates it!
I’m pleasantly surprised at the gem setting quality on the Speedmaster. The stones look flawless.

Yeah it’s one of the reasons why these are so scarce from the watch manufacturers, the stones are they use have to be near perfect.

TY for your words, do you know much about the production levels? I wasn’t given much info and don’t know much about it.

Congrats! Absolutely stunning. I’m glad to see someone that actually owns one of these. I think they do four different versions, correct? I think you chose the best one. There’s another with diamonds, one with rubies, one with rainbow colors around the bezel, oh and a Sedna version with rubies. If anyone wants pics let me know but I don’t want to clog up OP’s awesome thread of HIS stunning Speedy!

Hey I would love for you to share more pics. I don’t know if others who own one and would love to learn more. I don’t actually know too much about them. I just desperately wanted a blue sapphire watch to match my wife’s wedding jewellery.
