I guess this is currently the most complicated and openworked tourb that AP makes? Correct me if I’m wrong here. I’ve seen the blue ceramic openworked tourb Code and that was amazing in person. I’m guessing this will be even lighter and more mind blowing. Gotta say this is convincing me to see if I have a chance
This movement is incredible. I love how the spiderman feet come down into the open space and you can see them from the back. VERY cool indeed and a fun way to show off APs expertise and raise money for charity.

New AP’s prediction 2023 thread

What’s truly surprising is not having the AP logo or brand name on the front.

Yeah, the black panther had the AP logo on the center thingy (technical term) of the tourbillon.

I did not understand the BP at first but now I would love this piece. But, it is extremely pricey for me. Not saying it is not worth it - just keep comparing this with other watches at the 200K price point. I am especially interested at the concept at 42mm too. Looks so good .

Spider-Man is one of my fav characters.

This is getting so much violent hate online and don’t know why. It is a great, fun, piece that will easily sell and keep excellent value.

Anyone have an allocation?

The whole 10 pieces 41mm gem set is purchased by one man so he will be the only man in possesion of these models. I think it is totally unfair for a bunch of high profile AP collectors who expressed interes for these watches.

Beside these there is the same set of 10 in 37mm size.

Guess that fits here, as there was a lot of online hating on those as well. The full set is quite the sight in this picture.

Wow, excluding the spider man watch, just the one set of releases and we’re half way through the year!

Even if the person who got them probably has the money to afford all of them, the fact that he was offered to buy them all seems like a bit of a slap on the face for all the people who couldn't even get 1.

These aren't meant to be purchased individually. My SA told me it was to be sold as a set as it is "art" (displayed) and not meant for wearing.

Was always excited about the prospect of a purple dial RO, or even ROC, but need it to be steel *sigh*
Nonetheless, these are nice releases.

What happened to 30th Anniversary for the Offshore. There are more Royal Oaks releases this year than the offshores by a ton

Was wondering the same. In the past there were some new offshore releases beginning of july. Fingers crossed.

Would love to see some 37-40 mm offshore (divers) which are not ruined by diamonds.
