Theres something special about a full gold Royal Oak.

I finally got lucky and collected a 16202OR at the weekend and it is truly incredible.

I cannot stress more that you need to go buy it :).

Agree. AP RG is a cut above. Also, the smoked dials are amazing

This one is the dream, but I will never get the allocation. Hoping for the blue dial 41 in rose gold with bracelet. Maybe after my next one, it will be time.

Hello everyone! Just a little update, finally was able to pick up the full rose gold blue dial earlier this week at the AP boutique. Fantastic piece, really happy that this is my first AP. Beautiful shade of pink and the blue dial just goes very well with it.

But I am intrigued. Especially in RG. RG is my s***

I daily mostly RG including today with my 326935. And if not the 935 its a 715 or 515. But anyway who knows. Maybe one day. Somehow

How do you like the look of AP RG and the different metal screws in the bezel. WG right? The screws.

And the fit comparison. More comfortable? Same? Worse?

What do you mean tested? See if they are all talk and no money? I just thought SA were there to sell watches not to 'test' or profile a client.

If they are good at testing/reading clients maybe they should be working for MI5

Congratulations OP! Very lucky to be offered either of these watches as a first piece from AP, but the rose gold and blue dial is a cut above the green ROC in my opinion.

Enjoy in the best of health, looks amazing!

Hi! The rose gold is beautiful, lush but also kind of industrial given the brushed finishing compared to the polished gold of the Rolexes. The metal screws are white gold, I personally don’t pay too much attention to the difference in colour but it’s a nice contrasting touch. The fit is relatively comfortable, not like a Daytona because of the heft and the more angular shape but it has a slim case so not bad at all. The bracelet of course is fantastic, perfectly follows the shape of my wrist, the clasp feels very solid. Just a few random impressions, hope it helps making a decision;)

Thank you! I’m very happy with the full gold, blue dial is wonderful (especially now in Summer) and the bracelet is just “more RO”than the leather band imho

Sadly, yet another post showing that you just don't "get it" at all.

Given you have been posting ad nauseam here that you have been waiting/trying for 4 years to get an allocation I think the harsh reality that you might want to get used to is that AP just don't feel you pass the "test" as they do have to profile all their clients and it's a critical part of their role in the process. If you think the SA's are just "there to sell watches" then that is, unfortunately, your own misunderstanding of the brand and their whole approach.
