<<< guess what this is >>>

So ... my Omega rep sends me this. Any guesses as to what reference this is.

Guess what OMEGA watch is inside this unique box? It’s the first and only one in Canada since launched…one of the rarest at our boutique so far.

I hope the video works.

I'm intrigued now, no clue at the moment what it is or could be. The packaging is rather unique.

I remember when that was first published. I loved everything about the watch except the price.

Why does the Hodinkee link say availability 2019, with comments from three and four years ago??

Because that is when it was first published. Not easy for Omega to gather enough unicorn feathers to produce these. Only way they can make this so light.

So, only because I’ve had an active interest in this watch do I recognise it as an ultralight.

I’ve seen these at one of the London boutiques. What interests me in your post is that I had no idea they were as rare as this…

Honestly I didn't either ...
Figured the Speedmaster chrono chime would be the rarest

The OP left me with the impression this was a new model.

Same, and that's USD I bet. Not sure I quite understand why just yet, but in that price range not certain if this is where I would be going.

You do realize the movement is made of Titanium? And that Titanium is extremely difficult to work with for precision parts?

I saw Rory wear one at The Open. I don't think I have seen another.

Ah yes, this is quite the accomplishment here by Omega. If the No Time to Die piece was so light, I can't imagine how this one will feel.

Would love to see one of these on person at an AD.

I'm pretty sure Omega knew this watch wasn't going to be a big seller to the general public with the high price. I think this was more to show Omega's watchmaking ability for sports models similar to the Speedmaster Chiming watch from last year.

Recently saw a couple of these. Unbelievable pieces IMO. If only the price was moderated slightly. Exceedingly high quality in the flesh.

That movement’s strangely attractive. And I love the technology - that’s very clever.

But yeah - not sure on the colours and I’d have to have an awful lot of spare cash lying around unused before I’d spend that on this watch! Good idea from your sales rep to have an interesting text chat.

I've had one for a couple of years (while price still started with a 4!).
It's cool that the crown retracts into the case...so while playing sports it doesn't dig into your wrist.
It's very light of course but you know it's on.
I use it for sports and outdoors stuff...kinda cool that it's manual wind too.

It's def an under the radar piece...I dig it...
