Old thread I know but I realize we still feel this way. I suggest going to to children's hospital oncology unit and walk around. I have done this for years when the little f ing things that don't mean nothing bother me. Works every single time!!!

I don’t know if I could handle something that noticeable. But, it might get more scratches later and blend in

I hope you do more than “walk around,” like bring gifts as part of a charity event.
Pretty fuckin twisted to see kids suffering to make you feel stronger about your little problems.

“This is why I loved the support groups so much, if people thought you were dying, they gave you their full attention. If this might be the last time they saw you, they really saw you. Everything else about their checkbook balance and radio songs and messy hair went out the window. You had their full attention. People listened instead of just waiting for their turn to speak. And when they spoke, they weren't just telling you a story. When the two of you talked, you were building something, and afterward you were both different than before.”

Now it is truly yours and one of a kind! I would not rush to fix unless you can't live with that. Still looks great !!!
