1989 Rolex 18349 Day Date 36mm White Gold President Factory Diamond Dial

For sale is a near mint condition 36mm 18 karat white gold Role Day-Date President Crown Collection. The 18349 is an L serial, circa approximately 1989, and is not accompanied by box or papers. The Rolex features a brushed white gold case, which is accented by a fixed white gold diamond bezel. The diamond bezel which is currently mounted on the Day-Date is aftermarket, as the original Rolex Diamond bezel was swapped with an aftermarket bezel at some point during the watch’s lifetime. The Rolex is mounted on a white gold President bracelet with: brushed outer links, polished center links, and secured by a hidden deployment clasp. The bracelet contains 21 fullsize links, will comfortably fit a 7.1 inch wrist, and contains virtually no stretch, would rate it 90%. The Rolex features a siver factory diamond dial with applied factory set single cut and baguette cut diamond hour markers, polished tritium coated white gold hands, a magnified date window aperture at 3 o’clock, and a day window aperture at 12 o’clock. The movement used in the 18349 is the Rolex Calibre 3155, which features approximately 48 hours of power reserve. Additionally, the movement was serviced prior to listing, and is keeping exceptional time. Overall the Day-Date is in near mint condition, with the only imperfection being that the original Rolex diamond bezel was swapped with an aftermarket diamond bezel, but the aftermarket bezel is indistinguishable from the original. The Day-Date has also been extremely well preserved, and the case appears to be unpolished, and the bracelet is definitely unpolished, thus evident by the clasp’s untouched coronet.
