Which Snowflake SBGA011 or SBGA211?

I recently purchased a pre owned SBGA011 because I dig the older dial with the SEIKO logo on top. That way I can wear it to work around low income clients and not feel the guilt I do when wearing a Rolex. I also tried on. SBGA211 before hand and felt like there was too much open space on the dial.

Both are great choices, but if you could have either, which would you pick?

Kudos! Great watch.

I'm def partial to the new branding (across the GS lineup).

Great choice, I perfer the earlier logo myself. The newer model looks a little spacey with the newer dial.

I prefer the older double-branded style, but then I'm more into vintage GS so I like the traditional look.

Having said that, my only modern GS is the new style dial.

I have the newest Snowflake (211) and I wish I’d gotten the 011. I also think, as beautiful as the dial is, there’s just too much open real estate there. Still, the 211 is one of my all time favorites. Can’t go wrong either way, just preference.

I prefer the new one as I like more "snowflakes" on the dial. It will be ideal if they remove the power reserves totally IMO. I like clean and elegant design.

Same here! It’s newer and reflects the new thrust of Grand Seiko as an independent company.

I have been looking at the Snow Flake for about 2 years and I just bought the new one about 2 months ago. I am glad I have waited, not having any idea that Seiko was going to change the branding. I prefer the new dial because it looks a lot cleaner and peaceful, just like freshly fallen snow should look.
