Having a 'herfstbock', these are dark malty beers only available in autumn. Several breweries make this, I opted for a local one

Picked up these last week to try. The Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA: "What you have here is the holy grail for hopheads. This beer is continually hopped over a 120 minute boil and then dry hopped for over a month. Enjoy now or age for a decade or so" What they don't tell you is the ABV is 18%! As you can tell I've mainly been on a sour kick lately and the Grilled Peach Gose Ale from Commonwealth Brewing was incredible. I'm most looking forward to trying the Good Ole Days Salted Caramel Apple Gose. |

Yeah, the 120 minute is definitely boozy! Only beers I’ve had that come close to that in ABV are some of the Avery stouts and I’ve found letting them sit for a year or two helps them not taste as “hot.” Not sure if it’s a good idea to do that with an IPA, though. Nice selection! |

Might be my favorite new brewery in the region. Just stellar IPAs and milkshake sours.

Four Corners Brewing Company. 4th stop today. Fantastic! Pretty hammered now but would rate Community by far the highest. Got a tour of the brewery and sampled all the 1 offs. Great day.

White Knuckle IPA by Mt Begbie Brewing, Revelstoke BC. I have loved their beers for many years, but this one is new to me. Two tasty brews combined!
Quite tasty! |

Haha definitely strong scent of blueberry baked goods and the taste follows the nose. I’d say more like when you make blueberry pancakes with lemon zest if you’ve ever done that. If you haven’t try it

It comes somewhat reasonably priced here man so next time I’m headed for TO I could always bring you a care package.
Lug tread is a good table beer

I'm drinking a Hubbard's Cave Fresh V6 IPA, brewed by Une Annee Brewery in Niles, Illinois (the same city where my office is). Niles is close to Chicago (it abuts Chicago in certain places). My office mate turned me onto this beer. Amazing! And strong. 8.5% ABV. One or two of these (they come in tall boy cans) and you find yourself on David SW's website filling up your shopping cart. LOL!
