I was referring to the smooth bezel my brother was wearing.

The hands and indices comprise a small and non ornamental aspect of the watch which I have heard some scholars (please don’t take this as fact and look into this yourself) say is permissible. Similar to thoughts on small percentages of silk in a suit for instance.
