What EEpro said.

Stay away from the minefield auction sites.
Bob's Watches is very iffy for used older watches (service issues - my personal experience.)
And do not wire money to anyone you do not personally know, unless they have a long, satisfactory history of watch sales here at TRF. Or are long established brick and mortar stores such as DAVIDSW or TAKUYA. Those two are QUITE reputable, have good histories, and are members here.

I would add OCRoleyguy Patrick and also Tony at SDW JUSTROLEXES to that list. I have personally dealt with all of them.

I've purchased two Rolexes from Bernard Watch Company in Austin, TX. I bought a used 1675 GMT-Master from Bernard in 1997 when the company was in Dallas, and a 16710 GMT-Master II in 2020 after they had moved to Austin. Both transactions went very smoothly and both watches were in excellent condition. I have no relationship with them other than as a very satisfied customer.

It's weird being the same age as old people.
