Titanium Sea-Dweller 40mm
...would have been the real deal. YM is more of bling than a tool watch.
I hope they'll do a SD Titanium sometime down the road. 40mm might be a must buy for me. |

The only difference between the Ti YM and a would be Ti SD would be the bezel. The Ti YM has less than zero bling on it.

I can see why you’d say that OP.
![]() Prior to this release the YM was the dressier sport watch. From that perspective, a Ti Submariner or SD would make sense to me as well, but I still dig this new release. I guess it should come as no surprise since a prototype was spotted back in 2020 on Ben Ainslie’s wrist cheers: |

Pelagos 39 would be the obvious choice if you can live life without a coronet

So you're complaining that the blingy YM doesn't have any bling that you don't like?

I think Ti should have been applied to the Explorer II. YM doesn't really make much sense to me.

Serious submarine owners don’t need that range of options. Some get a little jealous of the fun options they see through their periscopes LOL.

if they had balls they would have made a YM 40 in Ti. They wont because it would literally outsell a sub. a SD40 in Ti makes a lot more sense than a YM. If they made the YM yellow gold in 40 I would buy it.

HEV stands for helium escape valve, the gas divers would breath in living chamber at same pressure the diver were working in water.

What is the point. If you don’t like it don’t buy it. Buy something you have not christened as “bling”. |

No more likely than hearing ‘nice black bay’ while wearing your sub. But you keep on hating anyway
