Rolex 1570 Not Hacking? From 1975

Hello all. I recently purchased a 1601 Datejust from Chrono24. Serial number dates it to 1975. However, the 1570 movement does not hack when the crown is pulled to the time setting position. My understanding is that Rolex introduced this feature in 1972. Should I be concerned? I’ve tried searching the forum but it appeared no one had this question about such a late production model. Thanks for any help!

Hi,
According to what I have read here and there, 1975 should definitely be hacking.
Serial number of the watch ?
A picture showing the movement would help as well.

What is the serial? I am guessing it is a service case that you mistakenly identified as 1975.

I’ve actually taken to a watchmaker to get serviced already, but from the listing, the first four of the serial number are 4373. How would I identify a service case?

Usually service cases start with 44 or 47 IIRC, but yours is quite close. I'm guessing that's what it is. It would also be helpful to see if there is a date engraved inside the case-back, in case it is original.
