Charles, Colorado is a great place. Maybe we can meet up for a ride. Where are you moving to? I've done Ironhorse a few times. It's probably the best road race (Mount Evan's being #2) in the state. I met Tom Danielson at Iron horse a couple years ago. Super nice kid!

I'd love that once I get out there...I honestly don't know where I'll land as of yet. Right now it's pretty flexible. I just want to get there before next winter and with a few months of road riding left. I head to Paris Roubaix, the Giro and the Tour the next few months and once that's done then I pack. Also, I'm supposed to be the team photog for Toyota-United at a bunch of their races this year but that should all be wrapped around the time of the Vuelta. Where are you located? Nice to meet someone on the board in that area! If you don't mind when it gets closer can I pick your brain on locations, etc?

TD seems like a really nice guy! He took it really hard at the Giro last year and probably unrightfully...I hope he has a great year. We'll see what happens with Disco this year tho...the ProTour doesn't seem to happy about their signing of Ivan.

I am deeply disappointed with Lexus this year. We have had top of the line LS's for the last 15 years. All came with air suspension. The last one, a 2001 LS 430 had adaptive cruise control and a whole bunch of other goodies. Now they're only putting that and the other good stuff on the L version - and who needs a car that's another 5 in. longer.

In addition to not offering the air suspension on the standard wheelbase model, they didn't offer the adaptive cruise control. And what p!sses of the most, they are offering that option on the Avalon.

I can only take one suitcase on this trip, JJ, so I'll have to limit myself to bringing just this one:

That's okay, but do you know why it happens? 'Cause the forum is painfully slow.

When I click on EDIT, it takes forever to go back....so the impatient man that I am, I go to the green BACK button on the very top left hand side and then make the changes.

The result is two posts come up!! Now when I click on SUBMIT REPLY, it's gonna take a lifetime to upload!!

I know. I'm having the same problem right now.

It's all those damned TT Blue Sub pics you posted. You've slowed this place to a molasses like crawl.

Beautiful car. The 328 does not suffer from the hornets nest of problems that the early 308s do.

Thanks! Your Boxer looks nice. I got a ride on a 512BBi, it was pretty raw and quick.

Nice to see other Ferrari owners here

[QUOTE=oldman2005;158302]Nice Cruisers!!! My guess that is an 105 series??? I would love to have a solid axles HZJ105 here in the USA but we can only get the UZJ100, and here's my daily driver:

Hey Oldman2005,

The white one is a HZJ 105 GXL and your spot on with the live axles. It has the 4.2 Diesel and is a great work horse and yet very economical.(About 10L/100km or 30mpg.)

The other is the wife's Prado (95 Series).

Unfortunately most of the solid axle Cruisers have now been replaced by the IFS (Independant Front Suspension) Cruiser. The only model now available with the solid/live axle setup is the poverty pack model. This is mostly used by the mining and Govt agencies.

The Landcruisers are mighty and reliable and I have been 3 days from any human settlements and been able to get the job done.
